Great remote.. far easier to get this then to explain to your loving wife how to run your overly complex stereo. 'Had an old 880 go south and updated to this model. The new one is far more comfortable to hold and the charging-dock is a huge improvement over the old model.
Love it."

I have a lot of remotes, 6 in all. Even an older Harmony but still had to use all on occasion. This Harmony One handles Sharp HD TV, A/V receiver, U-Verse DVR, PS3 w/adapter,and my CD player. Haven't taken batteries out of other remotes yet but any day now. Happy senior citizen"

Excellent remote if you have several components. A little expensive but worth the price if you are looking for the best and most high tech remote device."

I really did want to. But, it is just awful.
The programming itself was a tedious nightmare, and involved multiple downloads of commands into the remote, followed by testing to discover the commands didn't work with my equipment. (Yes, I had correct serial numbers and everything, and I have name-brand equipment the remote should know).
Now, the remote is programmed, and works about 10% of the time. For that 10%, it is great; press one button and the TV, VCR and home theater all come up automatically.
The remaining 90% of the time - for no apparent reason - the device just randomly fails. It might turn on 2 of 3 components, and leave the third off. Then, it will not function as remotes for the "on" components, so they have to be powered off by hand or with their original remotes. Then, power on again and the same thing happens; this time maybe 1 of 3 devices comes on.
During a movie, it will spontaneously forget how to work. So, if someone gets up for a snack, and I try to pause the movie I might end up running for the original remote because this one no longer works. It might turn up the volume during a quiet section, but forget how to work when we turn volume down a few minutes later.
After about 2 weeks of this I gave up. I no longer use the thing. 3 remotes wasn't that bad after all, and at least they all work. My wife still uses it sometimes, but even she is beginning to hate it.
Not worth the money. No way no how. I had strong urge to return it while I was programming it, and wish now that I had.

Easy to use, but required lots of manual overrides to standard options for my 2-DVD setup. Primary DVD started not even showing in options after I added ASUS O!Play Air - but that was not too difficult to set up in manual settings. Also, a learning: all family members must understand the remote and start using it - this took a few days, too. Otherwise, a great device. Best option for multiple pieces of equipments, if you don't want to spend money on RF solutions."
